Rather than treating STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) as a once-a-week special, the new Harmony location will build it into everyday classroom activities, from sensory exploration in the youngest rooms to structured projects as children get closer to kindergarten. The goal is the same as it is at every AEA location: a curriculum families can count on, wherever in Central Florida they happen to live.
What to Expect When It Opens
- Ages served: Infants through school age (6 weeks to 12 years), so families won’t need to switch schools as their child grows
- Hours: Full-day hours, Monday through Friday, built around working families’ schedules
- Curriculum: A hands-on STEAM curriculum (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) woven into daily activities, not a once-a-week add-on
- VPK: Florida’s free Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program may be available for eligible 4-year-olds. Please ask the school director for more information.
